The Museum of
Predictable Disasters

Every exhibit in this building was preceded by the same five words: "What could possibly go wrong?" Every one of them was obvious. Afterward.

A hushed museum gallery with velvet ropes around absurd exhibits: an exploded glitter cannon in a glass case, a deflated bouncy castle on a plinth, a melted ice swan, a cereal-filled bathtub under a shelf with a toaster, and a goat standing beside a toppled wedding cake.

Main hall, as it looks on a quiet Tuesday. Click any exhibit for the placard.

What could possibly go wrong?

Describe a plan. The Hindsight Engine will look at it from a year from now and tell you what the placard will say. It runs entirely in your browser, and it is a joke, not advice.

Or try one of these:

The engine is warm. It has seen everything. Type a plan and press the button.

The gift shop

Exit through it, as is traditional. Tell us what you'd buy. Nothing is charged; this tells us what to make.

"What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" tee

Wear it to every planning meeting. Nobody will miss the point.

"I Told You So (In Advance)" mug

For the one person on every team who saw it coming.

The Hindsight Calendar

Twelve illustrated exhibits, one per month. Every one of them, obvious in retrospect.
